Very friendly. Quick service. Clear communication. Honest. I found the place on Yelp. Needed an oil change and tire rotation. He did that and an extensive inspection with clear report and recommendations on work that was still covered under warranty. Will absolutely be taking my car here again.

Sean has been our family mechanic for the last 4 years or ever since they've open this shop. My car wouldn't start on a sunday which is his day off. I called the shop and he answered and helped me. He forwards his calls to his cell on the weekends and if he's not busy with a family functions, he normally would answer or he would text you back to let you know he's busy and will call you back. He's also text savvy. He worked on my car immediately and way past his closing time since I have a 4 month old son and he wanted to make sure the car is ready asap since this car is being used to drive my son. On another incident, I went in for an oil change and Sean found out a lot of problems with my car and had deemed it unsafe to drive and he wouldn't let me pick up the car until it's been serviced since he's worried that we would get into an accident plus we have a baby. Everytime he gives me a qoute, he charges the same as the qoute. When he services your car, he will tell you his findings and will tell you what needs to be done asap and what could wait for another service. Sean is very knowledgeable with all his cars regardless of what model and type. He is also honest, trustworthy, reliable and funny. WE referred his services to our friends and clients. We will continue to bring our cars to have him service it as long as he is still in the business. Sean and his wife Theresa have the best mechanic service and excellent customer service in the bay area.

Awesome! I found this place on Yelp and I am always a little weary of places that have all 5 starts! Like really, everyone likes you? I think not, you had to have SOLD your Soul or something. I gave them a try anyways because they were about a 3 min walk from my office building. The place was a little small but all the other shops around were as well. The older lady (Teresa) was super nice and took my info and Sean the owner was the person who changed my oil and was also super cool. I am usually super tense and hate any kind of car shop, but I liked this one. In not a girl but have many friends who are and I can safely say that they would like it here. I called in advance to get a quote and he gave it to me, Of course, if you give them the wrong info, the quote might change. In my case case, I gave him the right info and the price he quoted me was the price he charged me. (Most of these reviews say the same thing) Over the years, I have had a lot of oil changes and I can safely say I will take my car back here. To summarize, no soul selling here, just old fashion good service!

Had a pretty urgent problem with my car, which was stalling out randomly while driving. After doing a bit of google detective work I suspected that it was a malfunctioning ignition switch. Sean was able to take a look at it, and confirm my suspicion. He had it fixed quickly. Equally important however was the customer service. Sean was polite, approachable, and knowledgeable. He was able to explain exactly what he did in order to have my car running again. I'll be taking my car here in the future.

I had my truck towed here after it broke down. They had the problem diagnosed very quickly and they went above and beyond to get it working again. Sean and the team were very accommodating and provided excellent service. I would absolutely go here again, and highly recommend them to anyone.

It is clear that Shun is very passionate about his work and pay a lot of attention to details. He is the first mechanic that actually took the time to explain the work he has done and he does it in a way that is easy to understand. As a Diamond Certified shop you might expect to pay a little more BUT this is not the case here. I checked around and he offered the best estimate. Finally, since he does the work himself, you know your car is taken care of by someone with a lot of experience. I highly recommend T&S to anyone.

Shun and Theresa are very welcoming and you can tell they are hard workers and very knowlegable. Husband and wife team rocks, not to mention the lovely doggies that great you when you come in the door. Shun was very transparent with the estimate costs of parts and labor and fixed the problems with my Suburban's vibration . He also replaced the back window washer motor and drove me to and from home each time. Very sweet and experienced. I love supporting good, honest people in San Carlos! I gave Sean my old Ford truck to tune up prior to a smog check, and he worked miracles on it, including having to drill out and replace a "stuck" distributor. He is refreshingly honest, reliable and very knowledgeable about cars, both old and new. No need to bring your cars anywhere else!

Shun is a great mechanic and a great person as well. I had a check engine light for an issue he's never seen before, and assured me he would clear the maintenance code. He properly diagnosed the issue when other repair shops could not give me a straight answer. When we realized the code was not cleared yet, he stayed after hours with me to figure out why the problem wasn't resolved; that is extremely generous and rare from any mechanic in this world. He is truly an honest person and will not try and upsell you with so-called "issues" that may be harmful to your car. He has extreme knowledge of automechanics and is always eager to learn more when he can't find an answer to the problem. His pricing is extremely fair and he deserved every penny. Going to a mechanic is almost as scary as the dentist, but Shun and T & S really made me feel comfortable while being completely honest and professional. Will refer all my friends to see him if they experience car issues!
