My wife and I showed up for an appointment on Saturday morning. The plan was to drop the truck (2007 F250 6.0 diesel) off for ball joint replacement. (We even brought our bicycles with us to ride around town during the repair). We were greeted immediately, and welcomed in a warm and friendly manner. It felt as if we had known each other already. Sean noticed a diesel smell right away and popped the hood while we were still at the shop. He identified the leak very fast and pointed it out to me. It was the fuel regulator. Then after a few quick questions about why I thought the ball joints needed repair, I explained that we'd just had new tires installed and the mechanic at the tire shop wiggled the wheels and said that the ball joints were bad. Sean said that he highly doubted that the ball joints were bad, but he'll take a look. ...and off we went, my wife and I, on our bike ride... Nope, the tires were flat on our bikes. No problem, Sean motioned for us to bring our bikes into the garage and he checked the pressure and filled up all of our tires. Awesome. So, we rode about a half mile up the street and stopped at a pub, St. James gate. Ordered some burgers, and before we finished eating Sean called up to say that it was the wheel bearings and that he fixed them- on both sides. Cool. Shortly after the phone call, we arrive back at the shop. I say, "how much do I owe you", and he tells me, "no charge, it was easy." Lol, wow. Saturday was a good day. We scheduled the replacement of the fuel pressure regulator for the following Wednesday. I dropped my truck off at break time and picked it up after work. No problems. I've scheduled an oil change for next week, as I'm already overdue. I think I'll be going to Sean for all my repairs as long as I'm in the bay area. Highly recommended!

I found this store from Yelp. Sean is a very knowledgable and honest mechanics, he worked on my 2008 Lexus IS250AWD. The car had brake problem, I have to press all the way down to feel the stop. Sean debugged the problem by inspecting the brake system, performed a brake fluid flush, removing airs in the system, wheel alignment. After that, the problem narrowed down to rear rotor and brake pad touching and being rusty. Sean ordered the original parts and performed the replacement for rear rotors and pads. Now the stopping force feels like new again! The spark plugs were also replaced, it was something on my to-do-list for a long time. I am glad to find Sean and Theresa, reliable, knowledgable, lovely owners to get my car back to good shape! Thank you! I will definitely come back again for my next oil change and maintenance.

Sean was able to diagnose a very complex issue with my car that other mechanics failed to find. He has great skills in analyzing cars!

Sean is the best mechanic I've ever had. He solved a tricky problem on my '01 Accord that two dealers and another excellent and highly trusted mechanic couldn't solve. Since I purchased the car used in '05 the gas pedal would stick upon first starting the car, idle was inconsistent, and occasionally it stalled when cold. Others tried fixing by adjusting the idle, replacing throttle body, various sensors, etc... none of these solved the problem. I basically gave up trying to fix until I moved and started going to Sean. I figured I'd ask him what he thought. He narrowed the problem to the right part immediately, and tried one inexpensive quick fix at first. This temporarily improved the problem, but when it wasn't completely fixed we did the more elaborate fix. It has, finally, completely solved the problem, and the cost was very fair.

I'm elated to report one of the most UNIQUE experiences I've probably ever had when patronizing a business for the first time. Several months ago I'd taken my CRV to the Honda Dealership for a routine oil change, where I was informed that my brakes (all the way around) needed to be changed in the immediate future. Since I hadn't been driving much, I put the recommended repairs off for a few months. Recently I began to fear that I might be pushing my luck with postponing this replacement for as long as I had, so I began searching the internet for a reputable auto repair shop when I came across T & S Auto Repair, who also happened to appear as a Diamond Certified business. They were one of two local Diamond Certified businesses in the area that surfaced during my search and after calling the "other" shop and checking their YELP reviews I decided that I wasn't very impressed with what I was hearing and/or reading, so I contacted T & S, which was a true blessing for me. During my initial phone conversation with Sean (co-owner of T & S) he informed me that RARELY do you need to replace BOTH the front and back brakes at the same time. After speaking with him a little more, I felt very comfortable in scheduling an appointment to have Sean replace whichever brakes actually needed to be replaced. Well, this is where it gets good...no sooner had I driven into T & S when Sean greeted me at my car. Before I could even get out of my car he asked me "Why I was there?" When I reminded him that "I was there for a brake replacement," he proceeded to tell me that he could see just from looking at my brakes (through my open wheels) that I DIDN'T need front NOR back brakes at this time!!! He then proceeded to get a 'brake check tool' (I believe it may be called a "Caliper tool") but don't quote me on that terminology...anyway, he used this instrument to measure my existing brakes and proceeded to tell me that I still have 50% left on my front brakes and 40% left on the back. He then informed me that I probably still have another 10k miles left on these brakes and to go home and come back in another 10,000 miles....WHICH YOU'D BETTER BELIEVE I WILL!!! While driving out of T & S Auto this morning, all I could think was, I can certainly understand how these folks have definitely earned their Diamond Certification. What a breath of fresh air Sean was. I was equally impressed with how clean and organized their shop was as well. Honda has seen the last of me, as well as the rest of my family. I plan on sharing this remarkably, HONEST experience with as many friends and folks as I can. I look forward to giving T & S my future business and having peace of mind knowing that when I do require an auto repair, (which we usually all dread as it is,) at least I can rest assured knowing that it will be done honestly and I'll bet correctly/professionally. Thanks Sean for renewing my faith in auto shops and private business owners.

They are very friendly, I had my Highlander's water pump replaced. About $300 less than the dealer quote. He drives the car each time and he checks the sound. He has serviced my car for the past 3 years. I go to the dealer only if I have to.
