I found this store from Yelp and now I'm back here to return the favor. Sean is a very knowledgable and honest mechanics, he worked on my 2008 Lexus IS250AWD. The car had brake problem, I have to press all the way down to feel the stop. Sean debugged the problem by inspecting the brake system, performed a brake fluid flush, removing airs in the system, wheel alignment. After that, the problem narrowed down to rear rotor and brake pad touching and being rusty. Sean ordered the original parts and performed the replacement for rear rotors and pads. Now the stopping force feels like new again! The spark plugs were also replaced, it was something on my to-do-list for a long time. I am glad to find Sean and Theresa, reliable, knowledgable, lovely owners to get my car back to good shape! Thank you! I will definitely come back again for my next oil change and maintenance.

After taking our work van to Sean I followed up with my own car. Sean is a great diagnostician and does excellent work at reasonable price. Bottom line: I trust Sean with my car.

Sean and Theresa at T & S Auto are just an outstanding team. They have won a loyal customer for life . For over 20 years, I have been taking all my cars ( Honda's and Acura) to the dealer for service and I was getting frustrated with the " up sell" of services. I'm the past, I had tried a few independent auto shops on the peninsula in the past but because of my less than satisfactory experiences with them I had to return to the dealers for my service needs. I have finally found an honest independent mechanic I can trust to maintain my cars and ensure their safe operation. I first met Sean when I took my Acura for a transmission " Check Engine" light code. I knew a little bit about the code going in and Sean validated my suspicions without any "up sell ". Sean is honest and is a " Straight Shooter" and will tell you what needs to be done to resolve the issue with your car. It ended up I needed a " new tranny" and he recommended a particular brand which he immediately sourced and gave me a repair quote . I was blown away by his genuine honesty and without hesitation, in good faith, I went ahead with the expensive repair at T & S Auto. The job was completed to my satisfaction as promised and quoted. Sometime after, I had a separate issue with my Acura which Sean was able to resolve over the phone with me without skipping a beat. That is what I call true professionalism. I'm so glad I have found an mechanic I can relate to and trust the safety of family in cars maintained by him. I look forward to building a good, long term relationship with this independent mechanic shop. I highly recommend T & S Auto for all your vehicle repairs and request you to support your local independent businesses.

Sean at T&S Auto is the best mechanic. He is knowledgeable, skillful, and honest. He always explains everything in detail and even shows me the replaced parts that need fixing. I needed to change the timing bell for my MDX this time. He check the whole car for me. He found out that the back engine mount had a crack and replaced it for me as well. He told me what need to be fixed, reminded me what need to be paid attention, gave me the most cost-efficient options. He did a good job. It's not very easy to trust someone in the auto industry, even the dealer, but I trust Sean. Over all, they're reliable and friendly. Their shop is super clean and comfortable. I would recommend them to anyone in need of a auto repair.

They did a smog check and diagnosed my AC problem. Happy with the results and will bring my SUV back next time I need a repair.

My wife and I showed up for an appointment on Saturday morning. The plan was to drop the truck (2007 F250 6.0 diesel) off for ball joint replacement. (We even brought our bicycles with us to ride around town during the repair). We were greeted immediately, and welcomed in a warm and friendly manner. It felt as if we had known each other already. Sean noticed a diesel smell right away and popped the hood while we were still at the shop. He identified the leak very fast and pointed it out to me. It was the fuel regulator. Then after a few quick questions about why I thought the ball joints needed repair, I explained that we'd just had new tires installed and the mechanic at the tire shop wiggled the wheels and said that the ball joints were bad. Sean said that he highly doubted that the ball joints were bad, but he'll take a look. ...and off we went, my wife and I, on our bike ride... Nope, the tires were flat on our bikes. No problem, Sean motioned for us to bring our bikes into the garage and he checked the pressure and filled up all of our tires. Awesome. So, we rode about a half mile up the street and stopped at a pub, St. James gate. Ordered some burgers, and before we finished eating Sean called up to say that it was the wheel bearings and that he fixed them- on both sides. Cool. Shortly after the phone call, we arrive back at the shop. I say, "how much do I owe you", and he tells me, "no charge, it was easy." Lol, wow. Saturday was a good day. We scheduled the replacement of the fuel pressure regulator for the following Wednesday. I dropped my truck off at break time and picked it up after work. No problems. I've scheduled an oil change for next week, as I'm already overdue. I think I'll be going to Sean for all my repairs as long as I'm in the bay area. Highly recommended!
